My son was originally developmentally delayed. We just got the autism diagnosis this year. I want to bring awareness to the children with autism. I worked in special education for 5 years ranging from kindergarten to high school. They have a special place in my heart. Then, when my child was diagnosed I knew how to help him and how to advocate. I want to start doing more autism awareness events to help those families , such as mine. Some may not have the help and resources like other families. We all have to be united .
